I Need XM Radio in My Car

I can't handle radio morning shows. The Current plays some pretty good music, but the hosts of that show make me want to stick sharp objects in my eyes.

don't you have an iPod?

I do, but my drive is too short to justify the time to set up my iPod, and my antenna doesn't pick up the signal from an FM transmitter very well at all.

solutions:

1. hard wire an RCA jack into your radio. lots of Google returns if you're interested

2. just roll with the iPod, but only 1 ear bud (this latter solution may not be technically legal...)

What, do you no longer have CDs?

right now I believe the only CD in aaron's car is one of Elsa's.

But hey, we just started a new session of her music class today, and in all my driving for the day, I was on the last song as I pulled into the driveway tonight. MUSIC TOGETHER ROCKS!!

XM is awesome, I haven't heard a commercial on the radio since I bought a vehicle with it this fall.

Do you need a receiver? I have one I'm selling with the entire car package included - I listed it on eBay. I used to listen to XM all the time, but I'm not home much anymore. Oh, and since I don't have a car, that car package thing was kind of a moot point.

Aaron: i can vouch for La Frog (a friend of mine)

Actually I just got an offer for a free receiver (Krista has XM in her car). My car is 12 years old though, and the reception is not that great with an FM transmitter, and I really don't want to go through the effort of wiring something in on a car that old. But thanks for the advice and offers...
